Shakespeare’s Globe, Tower Bridge, Millennium Bridge, Tate Modern
I spent a day viewing the sights by myself just walking and riding the tube. It’s extremely easy to get around I see a lot from the outside in a single day. I like to do a lot, but want some down time so I normally only visit a handful of sights per day. Shakespeare’s Globe Tower Bridge This picture is actually from the Tower of London. Millennium Bridge It’s an easy walk to do back and forth, while taking some pictures.
St Christopher’s Village
Honestly, I choose this hostel because of a combination of reviews, having a close tube station (Borough), and being walking distance to The Ministry of Sound. This ended up being a great choice for all three reasons. I ended up closing the Ministry of SOund at around 6:30 am one night. I remember walking back from the club and people were walking around dressed up going to work. It was odd.
Tower of London
Visiting here takes a fair amount of time. The history of this place simply requires a lot of guided information. If you are into history, particularly in terms of England, this probably a necessary stop. Otherwise, you’ll be like me wondering why these crows are on the lawn. Hint, they aren’t crows and there is a reason behind them.
Wakeboarding on the Willamette
Clouds couldn’t stop a good time, even when wakeboarding on a ski boat!
WASHINGTON BRIDGE BUNGEE JUMP OVER 200 FEET
With GoPros around now this video footage would be a lot better. This was shot back in 2004. My phone footage is insanely better than this video, but it’s all I have. Maybe I need to go again!?
Wild Wicklow Tours
This tour was a great way to get outside of Dublin and see areas that would be hard to otherwise pack into a single day. The driver gave great advice on places to eat and various other helpful hints. It was a pretty lively crowd when I went. Spain had just won the World Cup and there was a group of around 8 people from Spain, so they were in a party mood.
Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Roman Baths
I only had 4 days on my first trip to England and my goal for all cities I visit is to do something that gets me physically outside of the city limits. Doing a tour out to Bath was my final choice this time. It turned out to be a great choice; all three stops were highly engagging and the day flew by too fast! Just a warning, this is a really, really crammed tour in terms of time.
